Ok, so.
Shrewd readers have probably noticed that we haven’t updated in over two months, so, you know… sorry about that.
The reason for the long absence is that both of us changed jobs rather suddenly and at the same time, and settling in has been time consuming and very demanding and hasn’t left a phenomenal amount of room for doing things like writing and drawing comics.
We still work on the comic, but we won’t be on a weekly schedule for a while. When a comic goes up, I hope you all enjoy it! In the space between comics, enjoy your favorites and think fondly on all the (temporarily erratically released) comics yet to come!

So updating twice a week for the last few months has really played havoc with our punctuality, as I’m fairly certain you’ve all noticed! We weighed the options and asked you guys and tried to make a few changes and in the end we’ve decided it’s better to update once a week, but to update on time.
So, going forward we’re going back to updating once a week on Fridays, on time. Today’s update will be sort of an in between update for last Friday and tomorrow. Next comic goes up on Friday.
This’ll be better for us because we won’t have to sacrifice quality in favor of quantity, and hopefully you guys will appreciate being able to count on us for timely weekly updates again. Oh, and if you’d like to know right when the comic updates, follow us on Facebook or Twitter, we always put up a notice when we put out a new comic.
Also, this opens us up to get a little work in on other aspects of Dear Toadington like extras and planning for conventions and 24 hour comic day and stuff like that, plus some other projects we’ve got in the works that we’d like to be able to share someday.
